For example, the always-on display which was introduced in 2017 with the Google 2 series, and also the crash detection feature, which Google released 3 years back.

5 Things You Should Know Before Buying Google Pixel 7 Or 7 Pro
Here are some important features you should know before buying the new Pixel series. After this, you will be able to decide, if you the Google Pixel 7 or 7 Pro is worth buying or not.
1. What’s Special In Display And Design
Both the devices have the Always-on display, but Pixel 7 Pro comes with a higher resolution and with a 120 Hz screen, whereas the 7 has only 90Hz of screen.
However, the biggest upgrade comes in the size. The Pixel 7 is shorter (6.3″) and lighter (197 gm) as compared to the previous 6 series. On the other hand, the 7 Pro is heavier (212 gm) and bigger in size (6.7″).
Coming to the horizontal bar on the camera, which has become sort of Google’s trend for Pixel phones now has also some changes. Both the devices have a metal finish which gives a more premium and classy look and most of them will find it the same way. But, the 7 has a Matt finish, whereas the 7 Pro comes with a glossy look.
Both models come in three colors. Pixel 7 comes in Obsidian, Lemongrass, Snow, whereas 7 Pro is a little different green and are Obsidian, Snow, Hazel.
So, if you don’t want a bulkier or big phone, then the Pixel 7 might be your perfect pick here.
2. A Fasters Tensor G2 Chip?
The Tensor G2 chip is an upgraded version of the Tensor chip and Google have claimed that it will give 60% faster and 20% more efficient machine-learning performance when compared to the previous Tensor Chip.
The Tensor G2 Chip will also enhance the camera performance on the phone. Moreover, in the new phones, users will experience the new Cinematic blur which is somewhat portrait mode on videos and 2xfaster night sight processing. Talking about the camera, et’s know more about it.
3. The Camera Performance
Google Pixel phones have made their place among camera-lover users. The Pixel series is famous for taking some good quality photos, that too in low light.
Coming to the new phone, here we see a massive difference between 7 and 7 Pro on paper. On paper means, 7 pro has an extra 48 Megapixel camera which is the telephoto lens. It has a multi-directional PDAF and comes with 5x optical zoom.
But all these specifications makes sense, only when you use your phone for macro photography, which is not generally the case.
2. Optimizing Blur Photo
Now, this feature might become one of the features which will keep Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro out of the league. This new feature will allow users to enhance their photos which are blurred, which is done by special AI.
The coolest thing about the feature is, you cannot only enhance the photos clicked on these Pixel phones but any other photos from past. So, if you have a blurred photo from 2015 or 2014 maybe even older, you can actually use this to enhance the image.
Notably, this is available in both phones.
1) Google Pixel 7 And 7 Pro Price: Are They Worth Buying?
Now comes the biggest question of all, are the new Pixel phones worth buying? Before that, let us look at the price of these phones:
Pixel 7 Pro
- 128GB: $899
- 256GB: $999
- 512GB: $1,099
Pixel 7
- 128GB: $599
- 256GB: $699
So, the Pro version will cost you $300 dollar more, which again raises a question, should you spend this $300 extra, and what for?
The 7 Pro has a bigger screen, 120 Hz screen, better resolution, a glossy finish on the horizontal camera bar, and a telephoto lens. Other than these, there are no any major features in the 7 Pro it looks a little overpriced.
However, coming to the Pixel 7, might become a must-buy for users searching for flagship phones. Google kept the price the same despite adding multiple new features and this might keep them the upper hand here. A flagship phone for $599 with so many cool and new features definitely looks like a must-buy.
